Bordered by Blackhawk Road to the north, Pleasant View Road on the east, Old Sauk Road to the south and the Madison City limits on the west, Blackhawk is adjacent to Middleton’s eastern boundary. In fact, the neighborhood is part of the highly-rated Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District, with Sauk Trail and Sunset Ridge Elementary Schools, Kromrey and Glacier Creek Middle Schools and Middleton High School all serving the children of Blackhawk.
Residents here will find themselves with easy access to 40 acres of parks and green space, including the popular Blackhawk and Swallowtail Parks. The 105-acre Pope Farm Conservancy, adjacent to the subdivision along Old Sauk Road, is another unique destination — featuring natural wildlife habitats and restoration projects all within a historical setting that dates back to the 1930s.
